Peter-Jakob Kelting

Peter-Jakob Kelting (born March 27, 1959 in Neuenbrook ) is a German dramaturge .

biography

Kelting studied literature, linguistics, history and sociology at the University of Hamburg . Later he worked as a dramaturge at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord and in Lübeck. In 1994 he became artistic director of the Junge Theater in Konstanz. From 1997 to 2002 he headed the Theater an der Winkelwiese in Zurich . From 2006 to 2008 Kelting was the managing dramaturge at Theater Basel . Since 2011 he has headed the Tuchlaube Theater in Aarau.

For his radio play The Last Executioner , Kelting was awarded the Radio Play Prize in 2001 by the Radio Basel Foundation .
