Peter A. Strauss

Peter A. Strauss (* 1971 in the Allgäu ) is a German chef.

Career

After completing his training at the Hotel Sonnenalp in Ofterschwang from 1986 , Strauss went on the cruise ship Queen Elizabeth 2 in 1989 . In 1993 he moved to the Hotel Königshof in Munich with Wolfgang Abrell and Bobby Bräuer . In 2001 he became Executive Chef at the Hotel Bachmair am See in Rottach-Egern , in 2003 at the Hotel Schreiberhof in Munich and in 2004 at the Hubertushöhe Palace in Storkow (Mark) .

Since 2007 he has been running the Hotel Löwen & Strauss in Oberstdorf , whose restaurant Ess Atelier Strauss has been awarded a Michelin star since 2012.
