Peter Bürfent

Peter Bürfent (born September 27, 1970 in Bonn ) is a former German ice hockey player and today's management consultant.

Career

Bürfent started his career in the youth of the Cologne EC and played in the 1988/89 season in the squad of the first division team with which he finished third in the German championship. He then moved to the league , where he played at HEC Bonn from 1990 to 1993. After the 1993/94 season, which he had spent with Limburger EG, he finally moved to EHC Neuwied , where he played in the newly established 2nd Bundesliga and only narrowly missed promotion to the German ice hockey league in the 1996/97 season . After that, Bürfent ended his professional career.

The trained center forward has been a member of the board of the Kölner Haie traditional team since 2003 .

After studying in Cologne and Santiago de Chile, Peter Bürfent received his doctorate in economics (Dr. rer. Pol) at the University of Cologne in 1999 on the subject of "Pension reforms in Latin America" . After working for Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers KGaA in Frankfurt, Munich and Luxembourg for several years , he then moved to their subsidiary Hauck & Aufhäuser Corporate Finance GmbH , where he was responsible as project manager for various IPOs and M&A transactions of international medium-sized companies. He then moved to the Coca-Cola organization, where he was the managing partner of various companies owned by the independent concessionaires. He was responsible for the successful merger of the independent Coca-Cola concessionaires with Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG in 2007. Today he is the managing partner of Peter Bürfent GmbH & Co. KG, which is involved in various companies in the beverage industry. He is also a member of various committees, including a. on the advisory board of Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG, Berlin. Since 2008 Peter Bürfent has also been a partner in BHJ Corporate Finance - Dr. Peter Bürfent and Arnold H. Jahn GbR , a company active in management consulting.
