Peter Bartl

Peter Bartl (born November 26, 1938 in Cottbus ) is a German historian .

Life

After receiving his doctorate in 1967 and habilitation in 1973 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , he became a research assistant and professor for the history of Eastern Europe and Southeastern Europe . In 2004 he retired.

His research focus is Albanian history .
