Peter Bernreuther

Peter Bernreuther (born December 26, 1946 in Würzburg ) is a former German sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

At the European Indoor Games and the European Athletics Indoor Championships, he won a total of three relay medals with the German team: 1968 in Madrid silver in the 4-by-364-meter relay, in 1969 in Belgrade bronze in the 4-by-390 meters Relay and in 1972 in Grenoble silver in the 4 x 360 meter relay.

In 1969 and 1971 he was German indoor champion , and in 1972 German indoor champion with the 4 x 400 meter relay .

Peter Bernreuther started for DJK Würzburg until 1971 , then for Bayer 04 Leverkusen .

In 1982 he came to the Reutlingen Music School as a guitar teacher and became its deputy director in 1993. In 2011 he retired.
