Peter Briner (born November 1, 1943 in Zurich , resident in Zurich and Schaffhausen ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).
biography
The economist built up an import trade for sportswear in the USA . In 1968 he joined Schoeller Albers AG and was promoted to director in 1981. From 1987 to 1999 he was a full-time Executive Council and headed the Department of Finance, which is responsible in the canton of Schaffhausen for the judiciary and the communities. Since the 1999 elections he has been a member of the Council of States for the canton of Schaffhausen . In 2011 he no longer ran for the renewal elections. He also holds administrative and advisory mandates.
