Peter Carl von Hohenthal
Peter Carl Freiherr von Hohenthal , since 1790 Count von Hohenthal (* 1784 , † 1856 ) was royal Saxon secret finance councilor, raft supervisor, district chief of the Meißnische Kreis and after the death of his father from 1825 registrar of Königsbrück and heir, feudal lord and court lord on Döbernitz and Kossa (until 1829).
Life
He was the son of the first marriage of Peter Carl Wilhelm Graf von Hohenthal with Christiane Sophie nee Watzdorff (1759-1814). After reaching the age of majority, he received the paternal manor Glauschnitz . In 1804 Peter Carl von Hohenthal married Julie Karoline Sophie von Unruh in Glauschnitz . The marriage resulted in two children: Karoline Agnes von Hohenthal (1805-1820) and Peter Alfred von Hohenthal (1806-1860). Who was married to Charlotte Louise Princess Biron of Curland .
After the death of his father, he took over the rulership of Königsbrück as the eldest son and, by his father's will on June 11, 1822, became the owner of the Döbernitz manor, which he had previously leased, and the Kossa mansion . He gave this property away to his son Peter Alfred in 1829.
