Peter Chen Bolu
Peter Chen Bolu (Bailu) ( Chinese 陳柏 廬 ; born April 18, 1913 ; † November 5, 2009 in Dafeng , Dazhong ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of the Taming Diocese in Handan , People's Republic of China .
Life
Peter Chen Bolu was ordained a priest in 1944 . Between 1966 and 1976 he was interned in a labor camp. In 1986 Francis Han Tingbi , Bishop of Hungtung ( Archdiocese of Taiyüan ), secretly donated his episcopal ordination . On May 29, 1988 he took up the post of Bishop of Taming in Handan (also Diocese of Handan ) with the toleration of the Roman Curia and the state Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association . In 1993 he resigned for reasons of age.
He was the initiator of the construction of the Dazhong Diocesan Hospital.
