Peter Clark (athlete)

Peter Clark ( Peter Ronald Clark ; born November 29, 1933 ) is a retired British long-distance runner .

In 1958 he was starting for England at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff fifth over three miles . At the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm he came fourth over 5000 m . In September 1958, Clark was a member of the season that set a world record (16: 30.6 minutes) over the rarely run season 4 times 1 mile.
