Peter Diehl (gymnast)

Peter Diehl (born November 13, 1950 in Westerhorn ) is a German gymnast .

Life

Peter Diehl is the twin brother of the gymnast Manfred Diehl , also a multiple German champion. Both were members of the ETSV Gut Heil Itzehoe, from 1976 members and team champions in the German Gymnastics League with the Siegerland Artistic Gymnastics Association in 1978 and 1979 and together members of the MTV Hörnerkirchen, which was merged with SV Hörnerkirchen in 2001, and still do gymnastics together today in the Show gymnastics group "Los Barros".

Peter Diehl studied sports science at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and is a certified sports teacher in Siegen . He is multiple German champion, including 1973 in horse jumping , 1978 in eight combat , and 1974 took part in the gymnastics world championships in Varna .
