Peter Empen

Peter Empen (born January 20, 1920 in Nordstrand ; † April 24, 1971 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Empen was a chess master by profession . In 1969 Empen replaced Klaus Konrad , who had been elected to the Bundestag, via the SPD state list in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . Empen was a member of the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Committee, the Submission Committee and, until September 1970, the Interior Committee. In January 1970 he became a member of the state election committee.

Empen died before the end of the 6th parliamentary term, which ended on May 15, 1971. Ernst Fleischner replaced him on April 29, 1971 .
