Peter Fryer (athlete)

Peter Fryer (born July 2, 1928 ) is a retired British sprinter .

In 1954 he was fourth over 440 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver and won with the English team in the 4-times-440-yard relay. At the European Athletics Championships in Bern , he was eliminated over 400 m in the preliminary run.

From 1953 to 1955 he was English champion over 440 yards three times in a row, most recently with his personal best of 47.7 s (corresponds to 47.4 s over 400 m).
