Peter Günther Tropper

Peter Günther Tropper (born February 26, 1956 in Graz ) is an Austrian Roman Catholic church historian and diocesan archivist for the diocese of Gurk .

Life

Tropper studied history and German at the University of Graz , where he was awarded a Dr. phil. doctorate and in 1997 at the Theological Faculty of the Church History habilitation was. Since 1981 he has been archivist at the archives of the Gurk diocese in Klagenfurt , which he has headed since 1985. He has given lectures in Germany and abroad (including in Bregenz , Brixen , Gorizia , Klagenfurt, Rome , Salzburg , Weingarten, Vienna ).
