Peter Heinemann

Peter Heinemann (born March 2, 1936 in Essen ) is a German lawyer and politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life and work

After attending school and graduating from high school , the son of the former Federal President Gustav Heinemann studied law in Tübingen, Heidelberg, Berlin and Bonn. He also studied political science in Paris. He passed the first and second state exams and received his doctorate . Heinemann then worked as a lawyer and notary .

He has been a member of the SPD since 1961. He is active in numerous bodies of the SPD. So he was z. B. Sub-district chairman in Essen. Heinemann was presbyter of the Protestant parish of Essen-Heisingen and member of the board of trustees of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung .

From May 29, 1980 to May 30, 1990, Heinemann was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 080 Essen VI.
