Peter Hell (born April 3, 1947 in Munich ) is a German entrepreneur , sports official and former bobsleigh driver . He was German champion and Olympic participant.

Life

During his active time, Hell lived and trained in Berchtesgaden where he worked for the Königssee e. V. started. Together with Hans Morant , Jürgen Kyre and Dieter Gebhard , he won the Bavarian and German championship titles in the four-man bobsleigh in 1977. In 1978 he reached 6th place at the two-man bobsleigh World Championship with brakeman Dieter Gebhard .

In the two-man and four-man bobsleigh, he took part in the XIII. 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . He reached the positions 7 (four-man bobsleigh) and 8 (two-man bobsleigh) and was the best-placed starter from the West German bobsleigh relay .

After his active career, he worked as a trainer and television commentator in bobsleigh. Today he works in the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation as coordinator for the Europe Cup competitions in the field of bobsleigh.

He lives with his wife in Königsee .
