Peter Immanuel Hartmann

Peter Immanuel Hartmann (born July 3, 1727 in Halle / Saale ; † December 1, 1791 in Frankfurt / Oder ) was a German doctor, professor of medicine and member of the scholars' academy " Leopoldina ."

Life

Peter Immanuel Hartmann studied medicine in Halle. From 1759 to 1763 he was professor of medicine at the Academia Julia in Helmstedt and from 1763 to 1791 professor of medicine at the University of Frankfurt an der Oder. On September 10, 1755, he was admitted to the “Leopoldina” academy of scholars under the surname MENON ( matriculation no. 597 ). He died in Frankfurt an der Oder.
