Peter Inselkammer (* 1970 ) is a German innkeeper and entrepreneur from the Inselkammer family .

Life

Peter Inselkammer is the oldest of the three children of Peter sen. and Josefa "Peppi" Inselkammer and thus grandson of Franz Seraph Inselkammer . He has a sister and a brother.

After completing his school education, he completed an apprenticeship as a hotel manager and studied business administration . He then spent a long time in the United States . From 1999 he joined his father's business, which includes the Platzl Hotel , the Pfistermühle restaurant and other properties in Munich - especially on the Platzl . In 2000 he became managing director of the restaurants and entertainment venues Platzl KG, and in 2014 he took over the operational management of the Platzl Hotel. The inn Ayingers am Platzl has belonged to Inselkammers since 2000 and the Platzl-Gassen were added a little later.

In 2015, Peter Inselkammer took over the position of Oktoberfest host in the Armbrustschützenzelt at the Munich Oktoberfest from his father , which he has held since 1990. He had held the concession with his father since 1997 . At the end of 2017, Peter Inselkammer was elected spokesman for the Oktoberfest hosts.

Peter Inselkammer has four children with his wife Katharina. Since 1992 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Rupertia Regensburg.
