Peter Jacobi (* 1951 in Meiningen , Thuringia ) is a German writer , trained bookseller and former blues musician.

Peter Jacobi began with an apprenticeship as a bookseller in Regensburg . In 1974 he founded the rock group 'blues & ballads', which later went on tour under the name Zyankali and had several TV appearances. In 1974 he released the album I could cry vor lauta bluus , which was re-released on CD 34 years later After studying philosophy and English, he worked as a lecturer and published plays, radio plays and novels.

Jacobi has lived in Munich as a freelance writer since 1981.
