Peter James (2010)

Peter James (born August 22, 1948 in Brighton , East Sussex ) is a British actor , screenwriter , film producer and writer .

Life

James spent his school years at Charterhouse School and then studied at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. He then lived in the United States for many years and now lives in Ditchling, Sussex and Notting Hill, London . Peter James first encountered Hollywood while working as a cleaner at the home of film legend Orson Welles .

In the 1970s, Peter James began making a name for himself as a film producer in Hollywood and has been involved in such films as The Bunker with Peter Sellers (1973) and The Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino and Jeremy Irons in the lead roles (2004). He now has his own production company in England.

Occasional actor Peter James appeared in an episode of Stephen King's 1997 mini-series The Shining . He also worked as a screenwriter.

For several years published Peter James detective novels and celebrated among others, the published in Germany thriller Die forever (ger .: Dead simple ) success.
