Peter Jeromin (born May 22, 1949 in Homburg ) was director of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1968 and doing military service from 1968 to 1969, Peter Jeromin studied economics and business administration from 1969 to 1973 at the Saarland University in Saarbrücken. He completed his studies with a degree in business administration. He then completed an apprenticeship as a commercial trainee with the Saarland government from 1973 to 1976. He also studied at the administrative college in Speyer and passed the assessor exam in 1976.

From 1976 to 2000 he worked in the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia . His activities included, among other things, the management of the department for health policy and the management of the planning staff of the ministry. He was also the minister's personal advisor and most recently from 1992 to 2000 ministerial director and head of the social policy department.

From September 11, 2000 to March 2015, he was director of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament under the presidents of the state parliament Ulrich Schmidt (SPD), Regina van Dinther (CDU), Eckhard Uhlenberg (CDU) and Carina Gödecke (SPD). His successor was Dorothee Zwiffelhoffer .

Voluntary functions

Jeromin is a member of the state board of the social association VdK Nordrhein-Westfalen eV and a member of the executive board of the state association of NRW of the DMSG .
