Joseph Strange

Peter Joseph Strange (* 1803 ; † 1880 ) was a German private scholar , genealogist and aristocrat researcher .

Life

Strange lived in Koblenz . His edition of the " Dialogus miraculorum " ( Dialogue on Miracles ) by the Cistercian monk Caesarius von Heisterbach from the first half of the 13th century, which has not been replaced by any critical edition, was published in two volumes (Cologne, Bonn and Brussels 1851) and authored one Index to this (Koblenz 1857).
