Peter Kapral

Peter Kapral (born April 8, 1933 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ).

Life

After elementary school, Peter Kapral attended a secondary school , where he graduated from high school in 1952 . He then studied law at the University of Vienna . In 1960 he received his doctorate in law.

As a student, Kapral worked in the press department of the Association of Austrian Industrialists (VÖI). Within this body he later rose to the position of general secretary . Kapral also worked as a management consultant and sat on various supervisory boards of state-affiliated companies.

In December 1991 Kapral moved into the Federal Council as a free member . Kapral served as Federal Councilor for five years, until November 1996. From 1995 to 1996 he headed the FPÖ mandataries of the Federal Council as parliamentary group leader.
