Peter Kaps

Peter Kaps (born August 7, 1917 in Rabenbrunn ; † January 29, 1997 in Simbach am Inn ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Kaps attended elementary school, trained as a craftsman and then worked for the Bavarian State Police . During the Second World War he was a member of the Wehrmacht and was deployed in the war. He was wounded and taken prisoner. After the war he attended several secondary schools and courses and trained as a tax advisor . He was later active in this profession.

Kaps joined the CSU in 1954, where he was district chairman. For many years he was a member of the Simbach city ​​council and the district council. From 1966 to 1982 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament , from 1974 directly elected to the constituency of Rottal-Inn .
