Peter Lübeke (born November 26, 1952 in Perleberg ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Lübeke played in the Bundesliga with Hamburger SV from 1971 to 1973 . From there he moved to 1. FC Saarbrücken in the regional league. In the 1973/74 season Lübeke won second place in the league with the Saarlanders. This entitled to the promotion round to the Bundesliga, in which Saarbrücken took last place. In the following season, however, the introduction of the 2nd Bundesliga continued in a new league. After a year Lübeke moved back to the Bundesliga for Bayer 05 Uerdingen . After another year he left Germany for Spain, where he played in the Primera División with Hércules Alicante . After just one season, he returned to Eintracht Braunschweig in Germany in 1977 . In 1978 he played briefly at Ajax Amsterdam , but then returned to Eintracht, from which he moved to SVG Einbeck in 1980 .

In 2002 he briefly took over the coaching position at 1. SC Göttingen 05, which is threatened with bankruptcy .
