Peter Landesman
Peter Landesman (born April 11, 1963 ) is an American novel - writer , film director and journalist for New York Magazine and Harper's Magazine and painter.
Life
Peter Landesman graduated from Cornell University . In 1996 he was the winner of the Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction, which was then still endowed with USD 2,500 . He lives in Brooklyn , New York .
His April 2002 article on refugees, smuggling, and human trafficking for the New York Times Magazine Light at the end of the Chunnel , won the Overseas Press Club award for best international magazine coverage. Likewise, his 2004 article on sex in human trafficking, The girls Next Door , made its debut as the best overseas press club for international coverage of human rights issues.
