Peter Lewandowski

Peter Lewandowski (born July 10, 1957 in Forst an der Weinstrasse ) is a German journalist .

Life

Lewandowski studied political science, history and communication studies. He completed his editorial traineeship at the Munich tabloid newspaper tz and worked as a local editor for Münchner Merkur . At the evening newspaper in Munich, he headed the “Modern Life and News” section. When Stern was Lewandowski department head for "Modern Life". At Marie Claire he was the copy editor and member of the editorial team. From January 1998 to July 2000 he was editor-in-chief of Playboy . From August 2000 to March 2001 he was editor-in-chief and head of the development department at Axel Springer Verlag . In March 2001 he became editor-in-chief of the men's magazine Maxim , which he introduced to the magazine market. From December 2001 to October 2012 he was editor-in-chief of Gala magazine .

The journalist and author Norbert Lewandowski is his brother.

He was married to the journalist Brigitte Huber .
