Peter Bernard Luccin (born April 9, 1979 in Marseille ) is a former French football player .
Peter Luccin's start in professional football marked the year 1996 when he was promoted to the first team at AS Cannes . He was quickly noticed at Girondins Bordeaux , where he made his breakthrough in the following season.
The most successful French team and also the club from his hometown, Olympique Marseille , tried to win him over, but again after only two years he moved to the French capital to Paris Saint-Germain .
The years 2001 to 2004 brought his first foreign contract. By performing well at Celta Vigo , he aroused the interest of Atlético Madrid , where he again spent three successful years. On the one hand due to the great pressure to succeed and the new competitive situation due to the obligations of Raul García and Simao Sabrosa , on the other hand due to the will to experience something new, he accepted the offer from league rival Real Saragossa in the summer of 2007 . There he completed 30 games. In the summer of 2008, Luccin moved to Racing Santander for a season on loan . He then returned to Real Zaragoza.
Luccin has been without a club since July 1, 2010. He had previously suffered a torn cruciate ligament. A trial training at 1. FC Köln in September 2010 did not result in a commitment by the German Bundesliga club. Before that, he also auditioned for FC Schalke 04 . In the summer of 2011, he was finally signed by FC Lausanne-Sport . He made seven appearances in the Super League before his contract was terminated in early April 2012. In early 2013 he was hired by FC Dallas in Major League Soccer . He missed the 2013 season almost completely due to an injury. Also in the following season he was only used irregularly. At the end of 2014 he ended his career.
After his active career as a football player, Luccin worked as a youth coach at the FC Dallas Academy. He looked after various youth teams there. Since January 9, 2019 he has been assistant coach for FC Dallas in Major League Soccer.
