Peter Melek (born April 1, 1987 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak football player .

Career

Melek began his professional career at ŠK Slovan Bratislava and played his only four first division games in the Corgoň league in the 2007/2008 season . After he was only the second choice at Slovan Bratislava, he began trial training at the Austrian club SC Liezen in January 2009. After he was able to convince there, he got a six-month contract with the club from the Liezen district . After his contract expired in June 2009, he moved to local rivals SVA Kindberg, for whom he played until the end of the 2010/2011 season. In June 2011 he returned to his Slovak homeland and signed for the ŠK Plavecký Štvrtok OFK Vysoká. In winter 2011/2012 he returned to the Austrian Burgenland and has been playing for SC Breitenbrunn ever since .

Private

In addition to his career, Melek studied educational science in Bratislava , which he graduated with a bachelor's degree in spring 2012.
