criticism

The Manager magazine in its issue 8/2004, Meyer is one who knows that the ADAC modern and professional needs. Right at the beginning of his term of office, he commissioned a management consultancy to carry out the analysis. The following profound suggestions for improvement for organization, strategy and individual departments were still in the drawer (at least until the magazine report 2004). The magazine report implied Meyer that he was not a revolutionary and did not dare to approach the encrusted organization of the ADAC.

Volunteering

Meyer co-founded the Mülheim initiative for climate protection and is a member of its board. The initiative claims, among other things, to bundle climate protection activities in Mülheim an der Ruhr, to involve citizens and to create transparency. Left parties from Mülheim had criticized the founding of the initiative because the structures were hierarchical and the goals were opaque.
