Peter Panzer

Peter Panzer (born December 29, 1963 ) is a German chess player .

In 1986 he became Lower Saxony's national champion. In 1993 he took 3rd place at the Travemuende Chess Open behind Ľubomír Ftáčnik and Yuri Sergejewitsch Balaschow . In 1993 he received the title of International Master .

In the seasons 1990/91 , 1991/92 and 1992/93 he played in the 1st Bundesliga for the Bielefelder SK . At club level, the doctorate Peter Panzer also played for the SK Hannover and the Chessfreunde Hannover from 1919 .

His Elo rating is 2352 (as of May 2020), but he is listed as inactive by the World Chess Federation FIDE because he has not played an Elo-rated game since the 2000/01 season of the Oberliga Nord. His best rating was 2420 from July 1993 to December 1994.
