Peter Paul Pfausler

Peter Paul Pfausler (born February 1, 1871 in Roppen ; † January 24, 1924 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian psychiatrist and agricultural specialist.

Life

Peter Paul Pfausler was a farmer's son and studied medicine at the University of Innsbruck. He was involved in the founding of the Christian student union AKV Tirolia Innsbruck . In 1897 he became a secondary doctor at the Valduna state insane asylum in Vorarlberg and in 1900 director of the institution.

Pfausler also dealt with issues relating to agriculture. He received recognition for his designs for pig stalls in Germany. In Austria he was appointed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as a consultant for agricultural construction.

In 1922 he received the political function of a regional culture council in Tyrol . With Pfausler, the credit association of the Tiroler Bauernsparkasse merged with the association of the Raiffeisenverband and other agricultural cooperatives. The association of the buying and selling cooperative of Tyrolean farmers merged with the goods department of the credit association to form the Tyrolean cooperative association. Pfausler represented agriculture on the Federal Railways' administrative board.
