Peter Iain Ramage (born November 22, 1983 in Ashington ) is an English football player who is under contract with Crystal Palace . He is currently playing on loan at Barnsley FC .

Athletic career

Peter Ramage joined Newcastle United's youth division in 1996 and signed his first professional one-year contract on July 1, 2004. On May 27, 2005, he extended his contract for another three years. The defender played his first professional game on March 16, 2005 in the UEFA Cup against Olympiacos , and his first game in the Premier League on April 24, 2005 for Manchester United .

After the 2007/08 season he moved to London for the Queens Park Rangers , where he signed a three-year contract. There he succeeded after a year on the first day of the 2009/10 season against FC Blackpool, the first professional igator in his career.

On August 5, 2011, he moved on loan to the English second division club Crystal Palace, from which he returned to the Queens Park Rangers in January 2012. In late February 2012 he was then loaned to the second division club Birmingham City .

In August 2012, Ramage moved to Crystal Palace , where he played on loan from 2011 to 2012.
