Peter Reinicke (social worker)

Peter Reinicke (born 1938 in Erfurt ) is a German social work scientist .

Life

Peter Reinicke did an apprenticeship as a miner at the Zeche Zollverein in Essen . He then completed an apprenticeship as a social worker and a degree in pedagogy, which he completed as a qualified pedagogue. He received his doctorate from the TU Berlin in 1979 . Reinicke taught from 1979 to 2003 as a professor at the Evangelical University of Berlin .

Reinicke researches and writes about the practice of social work in outpatient and inpatient health care as well as the history of social work.

Reinicke is an honorary member of the German Association for Social Work in Health Care .
