Peter Schreiner

Peter Schreiner (born February 7, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian director , author and cameraman .

Life

Schreiner studied from 1975 to 1981 at the University of Music and Performing Arts (Film and Television Department) in Vienna. Since 1982 he has been making experimental documentary films in his own production. In 1991 his film I Cimbri - Die Zimbern was an Austrian contribution to the Forum of the Berlin Film Festival . In 2009 his film Totó was premiered at the Venice Film Festival. In 2010 a retrospective of his films took place as part of the Diagonale.
