Peter Schultze

Peter Schultze (born October 11, 1922 in Berlin , † July 18, 2009 in Berlin) was a German journalist and television presenter. In 1946 he was one of the first German employees of the station RIAS . From 1964 until his retirement in 1987 he acted as deputy editor-in-chief and head of the main politics department of SFB television . Regional reporting, including the Berliner Abendschau, was under his responsibility .

Schultze was a co-founder of the political magazine Kontraste , which he moderated occasionally on behalf of editor-in-chief Peter Pechel .
