Peter Schulz Leonhardt

Peter Schulz Leonhardt (* 1963 in Prenzlau ) is a German draftsman, graphic artist and illustrator.

Life

After graduating from high school, Peter Schulz Leonhardt worked from 1983 to 1985 in Neubrandenburg. From 1980 to 1984 he took painting and drawing lessons from the painter Gabriele Schulz in Neubrandenburg. From 1985 to 1986 he studied art education and the German language for two semesters at the University of Greifswald . He also attended evening school at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art and studied painting and graphics at this university from 1991, and also took drawing and graphics lessons from Christine Perthen . and finished his studies at the art college in 2001. In 2000 he had a working scholarship at the Otto-Niemeyer-Holstein-Atelier in Koserow and took part in the International Artist Plainair on Usedom . After graduating in 2001, he settled in Berlin as a freelance draftsman, graphic artist and illustrator. He received teaching positions at universities, from 2003 to 2004 for printmaking at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art , since 2013 for representation techniques , fashion drawing, figure drawing at the Berlin University of the Arts and for figurative drawing and visualization at the Media Design University in Berlin and Munich.

Schulz Leonhardt went on study trips a. a. to Italy, Norway, Austria, Portugal and Switzerland. He is a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Berlin .
