Peter Sydow

Peter Sydow (born December 15, 1956 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German television journalist, presenter and correspondent for the Second German Television (ZDF).

Life

Sydow studied international politics , communication science and economics in Munich . He began his journalistic career with internships at Süddeutsche Zeitung , ZDF and Bayerischer Rundfunk . From 1982 to 1990 Peter Sydow worked as a freelance journalist for ZDF and ARD. From 1990 to 1998 he produced reports for ARD, ZDF, arte and various private television stations . In 1998 he was an editor at Focus TV for a short time , but then returned to ZDF.

From 1999 to 2007 he was a correspondent at the ZDF studio in Munich. From 2003 to 2005 he moderated the TV station Phoenix . From August 2007 to December 2012 Peter Sydow was a correspondent at the ZDF-Studio Rome , which is responsible for reporting from Italy , Malta and Greece . In addition, since April 2011 he has moderated the magazine Life & Style Rom on the ZDFinfo channel . Since January 2013 Peter Sydow has been a correspondent at the ZDF studio in Munich again.

Peter Sydow is married.
