Peter Tollmann

Peter Tollmann (born November 10, 1900 in Zülpich ; † December 18, 1967 ) was a German politician ( center , CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , an apprenticeship and journeyman years followed. Building on private lessons from high school, he attended a teachers' seminar and passed the teacher examination. He then studied at the vocational education institute in Cologne and at the philosophical faculty of the University of Cologne, in order to pass the trade teacher examination in 1925. He then worked at vocational schools.

Political party

Tollmann was originally a member of the center. On March 24, 1958, after a coalition crisis in the SPD / FDP / center government in North Rhine-Westphalia , he joined the CDU together with Jakob Ballensiefen , Ignaz Lünenborg , Eberhard Nickel , Heinrich Warczak and Josef Weber . He was active in numerous committees of the center.

From July 16, 1947 to July 12, 1958, from June 5, 1962 to July 20, 1962 and from October 28, 1965 to July 23, 1966, Tollmann was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He always entered the state parliament via the state list of his party. He was a member of the Wuppertal City Council .
