Peter Truskowski (born June 4, 1969 in Remscheid ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Truskowski moved from Remscheider SV to Goldstar Hagen in 1987 (renamed Brandt Hagen in 1990), became German A youth champions with Hagen and was a member of the Hagen team in the basketball league from 1987 to 1991 . The 2.05 meter tall inside player moved to SVD 49 Dortmund , for whom he was again on the field in Germany's top division in the 1992/93 season . The Dortmund team, however, achieved eleven wins in 32 games in the North group, one win less than Brandt Hagen and, as the bottom of the table, had to be relegated immediately afterwards. After Dortmund withdrew to the amateur classes, Truskowski then moved again within Westphalia to the forbo Paderborn 91 . This made it in the 2. BBL 1993/94 as the first table for the first time in the club's history to rise to the top division. Truskowski then moved instead to the then third-highest division Regionalliga West to TG Rote Erde Schwelm , before he joined the second division VfL Bochum for a year in the 1996/97 season . Then Truskowski played again in Schwelm.

In 1999 Truskowski returned to Remscheider SV. Professionally he worked as an engineer.

National team

In 1988 he took part in the European Junior Championship with the German selection and scored an average of seven points per match during the tournament.
