Peter Welsh (football player)
Peter James Welsh (born January 24, 1954 - July 18, 2008 ) was an Australian football player .
Peter Welsh played for Hawthorn Football Club and Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League .
In 1973 he was with Hawthorn in the final against North Melbourne. In 1980 he was able to win the Premiership with Richmond.
Welsh died of cancer in July 2008 at the age of 54 after a long illness.
