Peter Werndl

Peter Werndl (* 1947 in Göggingen ) is a German lawyer.

Life

Werndl began his career in 1975 at the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice . He acted as a public prosecutor and as a judge at the Regional Court of Munich II and at the Munich Higher Regional Court and as a consultant at the Bavarian Constitutional Court . From October 16, 1999, Werndl was President of the Augsburg Regional Court . He carried out "by far the largest part of his professional activity" for the personnel department of the State Ministry of Justice, which Werndl headed as ministerial conductor from August 1, 2002 . As the successor to Michael Meisenberg , he was appointed President of the Bamberg Higher Regional Court on December 1, 2009 . Werndl retired on February 1, 2013. His successor was Clemens Lückemann .
