Peter Wolsdorff

Peter Wolsdorff (born October 28, 1938 in Labes ) is an actor , director and artistic director.

Live and act

Following his training, Wolsdorff obtained his Abitur in Stuttgart in 1963. After that he had engagements at various city theaters such as Gießen , St. Pölten and Graz . From 1974 he worked as an actor and director at the Vienna Volkstheater . At the same time, from 1978 onwards, he was director of the "Carnuntum Summer Games" for seven years. From 1991 to 2002 he was director of the St. Pölten Theater . In 2001 the institute was founded with new impulses through art and education.

Peter Wolsdorff has received various honors and awards, including the Karl Skraup Prize in 1983/1984 in the field of directing and is the recipient of the Raimund Ring .

He has lived in Austria since 1963, is married to Ricky May-Wolsdorff and has three daughters.
