Peter Worm (born September 17, 1957 in Fichtelberg ) is a German administrative lawyer. Since 2009 he has been director of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Education

Peter Worm studied law at the University of Regensburg from 1977 to 1982 . During his internship at the Regional Court of Regensburg (1982 to 1985), he completed a supplementary course at the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer and worked in a law firm in Wunsiedel . From 1982 to 1986 Peter Worm was a research assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the University of Regensburg. After passing the second state examination in law, from December 1, 1985, he worked for the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior in the government of Upper Bavaria .

Professional background

On May 1, 1986, Peter Worm joined the Landtag Office , first as an advisor in the judicial office (1986 to 1990), then as a personal advisor to Landtag President Wilhelm Vorndran (1990 to 1994). From 1994 to 2006 he was head of the Plenary - Council of Elders - Parliamentary Policy Issues section.
