Petko Todorov

Petko Jurdanow Todorow ( Bulgarian Петко Тодоров ; born October 8, 1879 in Elena , † February 14, 1916 in Château-d'Oex , Switzerland ) was a Bulgarian writer.

From 1899 to 1904 Todorow studied law , literature and philosophy in Berlin and Leipzig . In 1912 he met Maxim Gorki on Capri . He was one of four employees of the magazine Misal , which appeared from 1892-1907.

He wrote short stories and dramas, using motifs from Bulgarian folk poetry and dealing with psychological and ethical problems.
