Petra Damm (born March 20, 1961 ) is a former German soccer player .

Petra Damm played for VfR Eintracht Wolfsburg . At club or association level, she won no titles and, apart from losing the DFB Cup final in 1984, did not reach a final. In the national team Damm made his debut in 1984 in a game against the Netherlands . She played a total of 46 games and scored two goals. She played her last game in 1991 as part of the Women's World Cup against Sweden in the lost game for third place. In 1989 she was part of the winning team at the European Championships, in 1991 the title was defended and she came fourth in China. In 1992 she was voted Lower Saxony's Footballer of the Year . Today the former midfielder is the trainer of the second women's team at VfL Wolfsburg .
