Petra Annelie Feilen (born July 23, 1978 in Trier ) is a German theater and film actress and director .

Life

childhood and education

Petra Feilen was born as the eldest daughter of the winemaker Franz Feilen and Renate Feilen. Gobbert was born in Trier. She grew up in the district of Dhron in the municipality of Neumagen-Dhron . Her parents tried to convince her to pursue a conventional career, contrary to her interest in acting. During her school days she directed the school theater and made her first stage experience.

In September 2000 she moved to Stuttgart and began an acting training, which was followed by further training in London and Berlin .

Professional career

Petra Feilen started her theater career as Steffi in Das doppelte Lottchen at the Schauspielhaus Stuttgart, where she also founded “ Die kleine Bühne ” and in 2006 she appeared in front of the camera in the movie “Happy Days” as Emmanuelle Nordenstamm . Numerous theater and film engagements in Swabia followed, until she moved to Bremen in 2003 and enjoyed great theater success there (including with Marcus Rudolph in Love Talk and Ingeborg Heydorn in Mudder Mews ). She has stood in front of the camera for productions such as Tatort , The Man of Yesterday and international festival films.

She has lived and worked in Berlin since 2013.
