Petra Krebs

Petra Krebs (born March 12, 1969 in Wangen im Allgäu ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since April 2016 .

Life

After secondary school, Petra Krebs trained as a state-certified surveying technician. She has also been a nurse since 2003 and works in the neurological early rehabilitation department at the specialist clinics in Wangen. Krebs works as a freelance lecturer at the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Health Academy in Weingarten , and has also been a member of the works council and works committee of the Waldburg-Zeil clinics since 2014 . Krebs has two daughters and is married.

Among other things, Krebs is a member of the ver.di trade union , the Kulturgemeinde Wangen im Allgäu eV and the Fairtrade Town Wangen im Allgäu steering group.

Political career

Cancer was shaped politically in the Catholic youth. She has held a mandate in the municipal council in Wangen im Allgäu for the Green Open List (GOL) since 2009 and has also been deputy parliamentary group leader and member of the board since 2014 . In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2016 , she won the only second mandate for the Greens. Cancer has suspended her work as a nurse during her mandate, but she remains involved in the local council.

Krebs is AK chairwoman of petitions for the green parliamentary group in the state parliament and spokeswoman for health, senior citizens and care policy. She is also involved in women's politics.
