Petra Michelle Nérette (born December 22, 1977 in Heidelberg ) is a German actress .

Life

Until she was 6, she grew up in Port-au-Prince , Haiti , where her father has his roots, before moving back to Germany with her family. After graduating from high school, she went to Munich for her acting and dance training and graduated as a dance teacher when she was ready for the stage. At first she worked as a dancer and was involved in projects with socially disadvantaged children. In order to expand her technique and the English language, she attended acting seminars in Los Angeles and London and also gained filming experience abroad. Due to her Haitian roots, she is fluent in French. The short film Ego Zombie with her in the lead role has been shown at various international festivals. Alex Schaad's film "Invention of Trust", where she played the role of Larissa, received the highest award for student filmmakers, the gold student Oscar for the best foreign language film. In addition to subsequent roles, she also appears in international advertisements.
