Petras Gintalas

Petras Gintalas (born April 23, 1945 in Telšiai ) is a Lithuanian sculptor and medalist , professor .

Life

From 1951 he studied at the Žemaitė Middle School in Telšiai, from 1952 lived in Palanga . After graduating from the Palanga Middle School in 1963, he graduated from the Lietuvos dailės institutas in 1969 . From 1968 to 1970 he was a designer in the Vilnius branch of the Institute for Technical Esthetics. From 1986 he teaches at the Telšiai High School of Applied Arts (from 2003 Faculty of Žemaitijos Kolegija ), since 1998 also at the Telšiai Department of Vilniaus dailės akademija , from 1999 director, from 2003 dean of the Telšiai faculty.

His works have Lietuvos dailės muziejus , Nacionalinis Čiurlionio dailės muziejus , Žemaičių muziejus Alka , K. Donelaitis Museum, British Museum .
