Petras Luomanas

Petras Luomanas (born May 30, 1948 in Daukniūnai , Pasvalys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician , Vice Mayor of Panevėžys , former Seimas member.

Life

From 1969 to 1973 Luomanas studied at the Rokiškis School of Culture and in 1980 graduated from the Klaipėda Faculty of the Lietuvos valstybinė konservatorija and became a cultural worker. In 2004 he completed his bachelor's degree in ethics at the Pedagoginis universitetas in Vilnius and in 2006 the master's degree in education at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas in Kaunas .

In 1973 he taught at Obeliai Middle School and Rokiškis Children's Music School. From 1995 to 2011 he was a member of the Panevėžys Municipality Council . From 1997 to 2000 and from 2003 to 2008 he was Deputy Mayor of Panevėžys Municipality. Since 1997 he has been teaching at the Panevėžys Conservatory . From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Seimas . Since 2015 he has been Vice Mayor of Panevėžys again.

Luomanas is a member of the Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai . He was a member of the Lietuvos krikščionių Demokratieų partija .

Luomanas is married. He and his wife Vidmanta have three sons, Andrius, Adomas and Jonas.
